Sun Tavern opens.

(ca.) Operated by Edward Bendall, it is located near the Town Dock. It becomes known as the King’s Arms during the Siege of Boston. The building remains standing for many years and eventually becomes one of the few remaining Colonial-era buildings in Boston.
